1. How long have you known

the applicant? I have known Ms.Janet Braza since 2017.

. How is your organization how are you connected or

related to the applicant?

After the Marawi Siege in May 2017, my organization

ARMM-RCBW- Mindanao Action for Reform and

Empowerment (MARE) initiated OneMarawi Hub, a

coordinating center for all volunteer organizations and

individuals working in different capacities to help the

Marawi Siege survivors and internally displaced persons.

Ms. Janet was among those who trained and

volunteered for our Prevention of Post Trauma Syndrome

Disorder (PTSD) through Magnesium Healing and Art.

3. What do you know about

the peace advocacy

actions of the applicant?

Ms.Janet is active in many peace advocacy actions. In

mostinstances, she uses her skillin art-painting and

drawing- in making conflict survivors process their

experiences and trauma.

Recently, we asked hereto be our lead artist and

facilitator for an Peace through Art Workshop for the

Children of Sagonsongan, the temporary shelter area for

theIDPs. Also, she participated in many art and peace

programs, the most recentof which was a tradeshow at

Robinson’s Iligan where she helped showcase many

maranao and other indigenous art works.

She has also received awards of recognition for her work

involving the Maranaos and peace in Lanao.

4. What can you say about

the applicant’s capacity to

deliver projects and

effectively and manage

project funds responsibly?

I believe Ms Janet can deliver and manage funds

effectively. When we worked together, she was frugal

and accounted properly the money spent for the art

materials that we asked her to get for the activity.
