Lord, I ask you to bless this first Pakaradian of our city as we gather here to celebrate and appreciate Maranao culture. This merry-making fellowship among our brothers and sisters of the Maranao faith also concides today in which our dear mayor Hon. Frederick Wee Siao delivers his State of the City Address. His peaceful leadership gives us a blessed year. Continue to bless him, Oh! Lord... bless also the Maranao and Higaunon people, and most of all, bless all the local leaders of Iligan and its neighboring communities, In Jesus' name! I pray, amen. Artists from all over the Philippines join the five day arts festivity with Hapit Aammod (Tuwali for voice of the ancestors) with “wisdom in shapes, colors and words” Artists from Tam-awan Village their 12 th  Tam-awan International Arts Festival at the village along the Long-long Road in Pinsao here. Local artists are joined by fellow creatives from all over the country in the festivity that will run until October 9.
